Heidi J. Moore is a Parent Advocate for children with disabilities. Because of the great need that exists in the state of Georgia and her own personal struggles advocating for her child and many others, Heidi has decided to use her knowledge to help others through her own consulting business.
Heidi’s consulting services are designed to assist other Georgia families with understanding and navigating the complex system surrounding the following programs and services:

Face to Face Meetings
General Information:
Consulting fees are $ 85.00/hour with a minimum of two (2) hrs consultation and Travel Fee (58.5 cents/mile) (or if you meet Heidi in the North Fulton County area- no charge) to review, discuss, consult, and make suggestions for your child’s Medicaid application (which may also include necessary phone conversations, history review, and research), as well as, general advocacy, healthcare, education, etc. Some may call it a "Life Coach" in helping navigate the systems in order to maximize the services your child can receive in order to develop into their full potential in life. Depending on your need, Heidi may review, make suggestions, and help write the information for your child’s Medicaid application (Katie Beckett / Deeming waiver) or NOW/COMP Waiver but cannot guarantee in anyway the approval of services from Medicaid. Heidi will provide clarification of the forms to ensure that the forms are completed properly based on her experience and answer questions the families have regarding the process.
For Katie Beckett Waiver:
If you have already done most of the work, then 2.5-3 hrs will probably be enough time for us to go through the application and give suggestions/advice. If you have not done any pre-work, it usually takes on average between 3-4 hours to prepare the entire package.
For NOW/COMP Waiver:
Consultations typically take around 2 hours depending on the needs of the family.
Below are the forms that will need to be filled out and faxed or e-mailed back prior to scheduling a face to face meeting in order to maximize our time together.
Phone Consultations
Starting August 2009, Heidi now offers phone consultations for those that need some additional help in navigating various services in Georgia through the convenience of their own home. Her fee for those services is $50.00/hour with a minimum of one (1) hour consultation. Sometimes families just have various questions that need to be answered. This is the best way to quickly get the answers you need to maximize your child’s potential. Heidi has vast experience in both healthcare, education and general disability information. The below forms need to be filled out and faxed or e-mailed back prior to conducting the phone consultation.
Presentations are also given to various organizations. Please contact Heidi directly for additional information regarding presentations available to various organizations.

Payment
For Face to Face Meetings:
Payment maybe in the form of a check made out to “Heidi J. Moore Consulting, Inc.” or cash upon conclusion of your meeting.
For Phone Consultations:
Payments will be made via PayPal prior to the phone consultation taking place. An estimate of time needed will be discussed during the scheduling.
